Classic Streamliners
I was at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend where, apart from the paddock full of noisy, smelly and otherwise exciting racing cars, there was a show of classic streamliners.
Of course there couldn't be such an exhibition without a Tatra:
A Mercedes Kamm:
A Dymaxion recreation (which I found particularly exciting):
Finally a 1934 Crossley Burney Streamline:
I'm afraid that I haven't much constructive to add, apart from how wonderful it was to see such rare and interesting vehicles up close. I hope that there might be some of you who'd appreciate me sharing such remarkable kitsch on here. Pity that the Streamline never took off, who wants to ressurrect Streamline Cars Ltd. with me?
