I do not know I wanna say that is what it was but I tried driving like a granny before and after I had it hooked up with no success. I think what helped me was I had a one inch tube going to the intake from my generator. However, I do think that it may have been leaning out my mixture and that may have caused the better mpg, but not necessarily good on the engine.
