Tyres: Michelin Energy XM2 vs Bridgestone Ecopia EP100
How do the serious hyper milers here pick out the good LRR tyres at the right price points?
I'm trying to decide between Michelin Energy XM2 (and at the same time avoid all the fancy advertising and get to the facts), and Bridgestone Ecopia EP100 (and avoid the Planet Ark endorsements).
How do we take a look at a tyre and determine which will be the better performer in terms of fuel economy without any real information?
My Googling found some testing with the Bridgestone Ecopia and Michelin "Energy Saver" tyres pitted against each other with a close result - but the issue there is the Michelin Energy Saver is not the Michelin XM2.
Any thoughts on those two?
