From my experience and resurch, Michelin has the best rubber compounds in the industry for performance vs. wear. Generally, the added life of Michelin tires outwieghs the higher price, assuming you plan on driving on them till they are worn. If I am buying tires for my personal car that I will be driving for years to come, I would get Michelins. If I were planing on selling soon, I would go for best performance for the price which often is not Michelin. I do not know the details for the two specific tires but maybe someone else does.
