I'm not sure that's a good idea, not practical anyway. I know at least three people who couldn't find the filler in their car. In two of those cases it was a borrowed car, and the filler cap was well hidden by blending it into the side's bodywork (gaps, creases, etc.). I can't remember what car make/model it was.
