I guess I never really notice the clutch pedal, but the best shifter ever was my 1989 Honda CRX. It was "broken in" like butter from the first day I drove it. The worst was my Dad's 1987 Ford Escort GT and his present ZX2. Here is my breakdown :

: 1989 Honda CRX (new)
: 1972 VW Karmann Ghia (Dad's, already long broken in)
: 1997 Saturn SC2 (new)
: 1999 Saturn SW2 (used) Same tranny and engine as SC2, so they are tied
: 1976 Datsun B210 Honeybee (Sister's hand-me-down). Not really a good shifter, but you get what you pay for.
: 1999 Ford ZX2 (Dad's)
: 1987 Ford Escort GT (Dad's)
