I didn't tuft test my car before and after adding the nosepiece to it, but adding it greatly reduced the size of the A pillar vortex as evidenced by the line of stationary water buildup on the front side windows when driving in the rain (and it improved the mileage). That line of stationary water is held in place by the A pillar vortex rotating upwards against the glass and the higher its position on the glass, the smaller the size of the vortex (ideally there should be none).
