Wasting money trying to save money

I did a tread on these a long time ago about how awesome they were and there have probably been 50 threads about them since then. But Iv made this one to address a recent issue I figured might be useful to the community.

Everyone who buys these usually pay about $8 or so but you can find them on sale most places for $10 for 2 of them or $9 for 3 of them (some CVS' and Riteaids). And they work as you would expect.

I went into Dollar General the other day and saw a giant bin of them, all $1 a piece (obviously). Well I had been looking around for some because my last ones wore out so I bought 2. First one I put on my seat, the strap broke instantly, then I realized the strap on the other one was way too small for a seat in a car, and for most any seat for that matter. So now they are just sitting in the seats and I have to adjust them to the correct position every time I sit down, I think I will be going back to my beaded seat cover soon.

Moral: You get what you pay for, skip over these if you see them and get the $3 ones instead
