I had a disappointing result this week. Still above 50, but not what I was hoping for. Had two bad traffic days right at the end of the week that drug the SG average down by 4mpg, then I used a different station to fill at, and it pumped much slower, so it probably put in more fuel than a normal first click fill, but it should even out next week if I can get on another roll.

Yer doin great Deathtrain! You'll be in the top five in no time!

You better hope I don't get crazy and do a MTX swap If only I could EOC........

Your guys freindly competion has caused me to really improve my driving.
I've found some clever ways to minimize the losses at the begining and end of my trip. If I can implent then, then I can usually see a couple mpg improvement on that paticular trip.
So I'm thinking of getting an additional engine coolant heater so I can enter lean burn imediatly. And thinking of doing some under body panneling. I'm hoping I can keep an above 50mpg average through the winter, but that will be very difficult.
I've found that my new ducted grill block is too big for 50-70 degree weather. It is difficult for it to get up to temp. It is a very effective mod. This tiny duct is much more effcient than the giant un-ducted grill that Ford made. I'll need to close off some of it for the fall.
