I was also thinking of what efficiency mods get done that will never pay for themselves. Like if one did an all aluminum belly pan that costed $200. Granted i haven't seen that but in other ways it could be true. My headlight sealing foam strips will never pay for itself. And I only got the roll for under $10 I think.
