Nice fixie. I built one from a light weight Miata once and was rewarded with a bike that great on up hills but was a wobbler at 150 cadence. It got converted back to a geared bike after one ride.
I have two fixies at present, a Centurion Cavaletto, low tech rigid frame. The other is a Mongoose Titanium, made in Seattle by aerospace workers. It has a vertical dropout so I have a rear axle that has eccentric cut. My Cavaletto is geared 44/17 with 175 cranks and is about equal to my fitness at this point. My longest ride on it this year is 44 miles. I have done 120 miles in the past.
Here is the Cav looking pretty much as it does now.
I can't stand over it when stopped but never been nutted by it either.
