In my experience and observations, exhaust mods can make notable performance/efficiency improvements in big displacement engines, or forced induction engines. Modded exhausts on little NA 4 bangers do little other than make more noise. I'd say do your neighbors a favor and put an actual
muffler on there. The sound of an uncorked Honda exhaust makes fingernails on the blackboard sound positively pleasant in comparison.
