Thanks CigaRoo7, I had just run across a YouTube video which also said that it was a direct sale affair. I have an email in to them to see if the firmware is updatable by the end user. I am not sure why I am bothering with the question...I am going to get it anyway.

P.S. It's ordered. One thing I discovered that using something like this can do is monitoring the actual cooling system temperature to see if the thermostat is performing properly without having to remove it and test it separately. Neat!
