The return trip was at 3.0L/100km for an average of 2.9L/100km [980km/28.3L] or
81mpg.

This is looking good, I hope it lasts. The wind varied all over the map. I kept the speed at 100km/hr and the rpm at 3900, the ambiant temp was 9*C > 15*C the small detail aeromods are adding up... Can you see me in the rear view mirror yet?
