no.. never owned one but always admired the 126s, just perhaps a little big for the UK. Never the less the W126 was also a truely great car.
Reading around the web the OM613 (my engine) does seem to be well liked.
Mine's 177k miles and so far it's only needed oil changes and two new thermostats, that's it.
I'm planning on taking it over 300k miles... hypermiling of a different sort.

Googling on I found this:

Which could be a very good reason for my ignorance of these engines in a 126... living as I do in the UK.
