Today I mounted them to the car and did some wet sanding:

Wanted to smooth out some of the high spots and reduce the "suede look" to give them a more finished appearance. I needed to get the garage cleaned up and reorganized for other projects, so I'm just going to run them on the car like this for the week; next weekend I will remove them and give them another shot of primer. They look pretty good in grey, so I'm debating over whether to spray them in a clearcoat after I'm done priming, shoot them grey, or maybe use a dull silver on them.
