By the way, I'd like to thank you for another slightly related issue.
The S3 has the inner fenders sloping further down than the rest of the bodywork, and I always thought it was because of one-size-fits-all parts that didn't exactly fit right. After actually looking into it, it seems it's actually a half hearted attempt at reducing aero drag from the wheels. Note I have +11mm spacers on the wheels, so as standard it covers more of the wheel.
