It looks like it's coming down on the centerline of the car, so it'd need just 1 bend to continue aft.
It doesn't have to go all the way to the back, if you keep it as long as it is now, it's not going to weigh more.

The car's body would be muffling the sound - more if you ever add sideskirts.
And it'd be invisible.

You could have it exhaust inside a streamlined shape that's lined with high temperature resistant sound deadening material. Doesn't need to be metal / heavy.

You could try the serrated edges on the exhaust tip - it works for Boeing
