Yeah, it seems to be mostly CFD, but page 21 and 22 imply a scale model with axles to turn wheels in a wind tunnel. On page 23 it says "
Validation was carried out based on a 'classic' Ahmed body but with moving ground plane, results were acceptably good", but I wonder what acceptably good means.
