It looks like the steering wheel controls the front wheel while the rear wheel free casters. Sort of like a 3-wheel car towing a one wheel trailer. But since it doesn't have the vertical hinging of a one wheel trailer hitch, depending on the travel limits of the suspension, it might have some problem handling uneven and undulating road surfaces. But it would have a turning circle the length of ths car.
