It sounds like your controller is not mapped properly for the throttle range. T-max-rc should the same as the raw throttle reading when pushed all the way to the floor and t-min-rc should be the same as raw throttle when you foot is off the pedal.

It is only possible to get an image of the firmware off the controller. You wont be able to get the actual code back.
