Late to the table, but I second Ryland's position.
I've had the 165 sumitomo HTRT4's on my Vx for 10k miles now. Better traction than previous "continental" tires, that includes snow/winter driving. Rain traction is very good, surprisingly. Lower rolling resistance is obvious when driving. They sidewall pressure is rated at 51 psi max. Much higher than tires of comparable size. I run mine at 65, however. (no issues with over pressure either)
I think they were about $60 each with shipping. Plus changeover.
