Mech, what steepness grade were you driving on?
i find even a miniscule grade kills it. for this to be real it has to be flat.
we have 8, 10, 15 even 30 mile continuous descents here in CA which I do
EOC with all windows and if possible trunklid pointed up to minimize brake pedal use. additional loads on the alternator help if the engine is running.
i have some cargo chutes as well as lightweight racing chutes i had made myself
but have avoided their use since CA is almost chapter 8 and our fuzz are a big part of local fundraising.
