I do recall something similar, done with NYC Taxi cabs. One got regular changes the other did not. Guess what the difference was - not much...
But, that's not my world. Those engines are started once and run all day. That's easy on an engine - 1 cold start (minimal acids and unburned fuel), quick and complete warm-up, extended running to burn-off moisture -
perfect.
If that's what I did daily I'd run my oil a
long time too.
My engine's life isn't so perfect...
