75 Buick V-6, 60,000 miles on 1 oil change= timing chain worn to point it jumped engine dead.
70ish Buick 350 V-8, 30w Pennzoil every 3000 miles for 210,000 miles, engine torn down to rebuild, could have replaced the timing chain, done a valve job, and sent the customer down the road for another 200k. Ford 302 no documentation on changes, pulled valve covers left a "solid mass" the shape of the covers, with voids where the rockers moved.
I'll keep changing my oil thank you!
