Now for the bad news. It won't connect to either of my Hondas - 96 civic or 04 odyssey. It sits there saying, "connecting..." until it falls asleep. I tested on a friend's Mazda3 and it hooked right up, so it's a problem with this unit and Hondas. I also tried the cable with my old unit and it's fine - confirmed the SG is the problem.

What car was the previous owner running it on? What car did you test it on? I'd like to know so I can maybe track down the specifics of the problem.

Or maybe I need to take this to Scangauge customer support. I hear they're good.
