Ley T6 by Jaray: Information & Photos

There seems to be very little information about this 1923 Jaray streamliner. The first car with covered headlights, a four seater and an airfoil on wheels, I figure it's a good thing to study. This thread is intended to bring together whatever information there is on the Ley T6 and similar cars into one place.

First, some specs.

Ley T6
Engine: 1530cc, 4 cyl, 20hp
Top Speed: 100kph ("while it brought a conventional car motorized equivalent on 70 to 75 km/h")

Fuel economy improved 30%

Audi 14/50hp
Body: Aluminum on wood frame

Dixi 6/24hp G7

I recall reading somewhere that it was susceptible to crosswinds.

Very similar were Jaray's prototypes using Audi and Dixi cars.

There was also a site I found earlier with a lot of specs, but I can't seem to find it again.

Anyway, enjoy! And if you have anything to add please do. Let's try to spread the knowledge about these forward-thinking cars
