Same on the uphills driving. I try not to make any push in the uphill. If I have to make a push I will try to do it in the middle of the hill. I make my pushes before the hill starts and at the end of the hill when arriving to the highest point.

When driving on the uphill I try to keep my instant fuel gauge at some point. Target is let the speed slow down slightly all the time. 1km/h per second is good time to lose speed. So I use glide with load as I call it.
