Finding (a couple of weeks ago) that my '87 CRX is still capable of 60.24 mpg even though it was crossing Wyoming (higher elevations) with the interesting mountain grade 85 octane., and heavily loaded with all my food, and water for a week's road trip.

3,200 miles, Vancouver, WA to Chimmney rock, Nebraska, up to Cody,UP the mountain, north to Deer Lodge, MT., on to the car museum at Deer Lodge, Mt., then to Lolo Pass from Missoula into Idaho, (great sports car, and bike road for Carver's)
then loafed through eastern OR., and WA. home.

Averaged over 53mpg. mostly using scenic non mpg. type roads.

Carry my own drinking water as the minerals in mountain states non too tasty!

Lowest fuel price observed was in Wyo. at $3.43.9!
