Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.
It doesn't add up to having an extra day.
It's just 6 minutes a day - probably less when going 60 on the Interstate.
My commute times stayed the same despite going some 12mph slower.

Something to be said for that, but I don't like to rush it.

By bike it's 2 hours of work-out, which happens to include the commute.
That's good - actually gaining back some time.
