What is the heat sink there for then?
Triacs will drop some voltage when current will pass true .6v to 1v typically
Voltage drop x current = watts dissipated it heat
No magic here
I'm really intrigued by this design ,,, I love simple design... I'll do a serious Microcap electrical simulation this week , I'll keep you in touch
