We just returned from San Diego a week ago and the wind was bad, so we stayed in Yuma because we were running late from detours, but it let us miss a huge car wreck caused by a dust storm. It never seemed the wind was coming from the rear though, always from the side. Our Avalon seems similar to your Q-45, how fast do you go? I stay at 75, and we almost got 31 on one tank, but 30 is the norm, the Toyota is completely stock.
