One good point of my commute is that I hit BJ's once a month or so in my wagon. It's nice to jam the wagon full of bulky crap at a better price than at the grocery store- but you've got to be careful because they count on the impression that everything's cheap there.

One friend told me about Alice.com, basically an online grocery store. I went through and price checked some stuff, and either wouldn't save anything or would actually be paying more. Granted, he lives farther than everything from me and has no reason to go anywhere near a warehouse store- but there are two grocery stores that his wife passes on her way home from work.
