eastern WA., ID.,MT.,drivers, I need advice!

I may do some extensive traveling from the Tri-cities in SE WA. up to Spokane, and east on I-90, and I-94 to Glendive, MT.

I was just wondering how these areas are during the throes of winter?

I grew up driving w icestorms hereabouts, but my specific question is how well during winter storms do these main roads are kept?

The vehicle in question is a nearly stock 1st gen. CRX. The factory front spoiler is not super low, but would it likely survive if some areas have 5inches of loose snow, that hardens alittle later into brick!

I have 2 pair of snow helps. Stock tires on wheels already pre-chained, and studded tires on wheels,.....ready for a quick no wet hands NASCAR changeover.

I just want to keep the front intact!!!???
