You're already getting some rather impressive MPG with your '05 GT - especially with an automatic. You're gonna surpass my V-6 MPG if I'm not careful.
Yes, the right foot/nut behind the steering wheel makes a big difference in MPG. Braking is your enemy. Much more than the throttle.
