Met My goal in the Truck!

Well I managed to get a little over 22 MPG *City only* when it was rated at 17, then after the EPA revisions now rated at 15 City.

No mods, just driving. This may not seem like a lot to you, but coming from driving my Camaro (spirited at times) to this, its a large gain (especially going from buying premium to regular)

This actually changes up my engine swap plans. I'm still going to swap in a T56 (6 Speed) but now, i'm content with the V6.

so this means

I'll go ahead with the 4.8 V8 LSx - more power, sounds good, similar mileage
OR

I'll swap out for the marine intake- keep the truck true (or close) to its roots so i can turbo it.

I've basically done away with the idea of swapping in a 4 cylinder now.
