I'm on track for my second metric kilotank in my xB. I got my first on February 6 - 1033 km (642.1 miles) on 10.563 gal, for a 60.8 mpg average.
I traveled 560 miles on the current tank before the low fuel light came on today. It usually takes 9.5 gallons to fill when the low fuel light goes on. I drove my wife to her college today, so the xB is at 600 miles on the current tank. Another 21 miles to 1000 km should be no problem. It's 16 miles to Costco, where I'll go shopping, and fill the tank.
