the amount of mpg you save versus the cost of lowering is probably not that great, but lowering your car does increase fuel efficiency. For LRR tires, I prefer Bridgestone Ecopia EP422's, because those happen to be the cheapest in my area in my size. I'm sure it varies by region. Goodyear assurance fuel max and michelin energy savers are also good. I don't know about the weight of the wheels but I can guarantee that they are close in weight. I'm sure someone on here knows.
