Idea for Grill Shutter

I've been trying to think of a way to make a bottom grill block that I can open and close from inside my car while driving in case the engine gets too hot, which it will if I put a block on the bottom grill. I thought of having like a pulley system that would go through the car under the hood which would involve me drilling through a lot of things that I don't want to drill through haha.
Yesterday I was at a store and saw a big remote control car, then this happened
I could take apart the car to just leave the motor and attach it to some coroplast to make a grill block that I can open and close from inside my car with the remote.
Doesn't seem too hard, once the holidays are over and I have some more money I'm gonna try it out!
