Hi! These cars LOVE Pulse & Glide. It'll especially help you, since you have the shortest of all the short civic gear ratios. Keeping the rpm down is key. What P&G gives you is a lower average rpm because it's only running at the high rpm part of the time. I find that above 55-60 mph, the mileage just drops off a cliff. Good job keeping your speeds down.

Since your gearing is short overall, and especially your 2nd and 3rd, try to get up into 4th or 5th as soon as you can. I like to keep it in the 1500-2200 rpm range.
