igbt driver board question

i apologize for the somewhat off topic question i am about to ask, but you guys seem to be the most versed in this area that i have found whilst searching.

ok, i am using some 150 amp toshiba half wave igbt's to make a single phase inverter to convert my dc tig to ac tig. the problem i am having is finding a way to drive them being as i took them from a 3 phase motor inverter drive, and i cant use the equipment that was in it for this purpose.

i have all the snubber parts from the drive, along with the case and heatsink, and i have a 12v power supply to use for triggering.

are the boards being discussed on here overkill for these igbts? it seems you guys are running like 600+ amp igbts and im not. there is 4 modules, paralleled together on each side of the h bridge, so i can get 300 max amps out of them.

thoughts?
