I cant say that I notice new vibrations, but then I am running Snow tires, and the balance on them was already terrible so I might not feel a small addition. Been holding off on getting them balanced as I plan on going to some more road worthy tires in the near future. But I agree, you need to be carefull when adding weight to a spinning mass. I think as long as you get the fiberglass reasonably smooth (even) that the difference should be negligible.
