AndrzejM's Toyota Previa ecomodding thread

Hi again,
After a busy weekend and few hours in my garage I've made my first step on the path of ecomodding.
I've deleted (not working anyway) A/C and removed compressor, condenser, pipes, etc. So now Prevka is few pounds lighter and without one belt and spinning wheel on the compressor. Second thing I've made was deleting belt driven cooling fan, and replacing it with electrical one - few connections to be made yet but for now I can test how it works.
Third thing I've made was a grille block (my last patented solution was a piece of cardboard ). But it's only temporary solution anyway , since I want to improve aerodynamics of my Previa's front.
Now I have to wait for an ocassion to test how those changes affect my FE, so keep your fingers crossed.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures (my hands was too greasy and I didn't want to ruin my camera), but I'll try to take few pics and put those here.

But saving fuel requires concentration, self-control and cleverness. It's a challenge with the nice effect of saving you money that you can use for other more important things."
