My recommendation if you ever get a website setup again, (this applies to anyone) is to be sure that right away once its up and running to submit it to google and to go to archive.org and try to view historical pages of your website, this normally puts it in queue to be archived, thus no matter what the website would not get lost and you can reference it once the site goes down)

The one thing is though you need to make sure the robots.txt is setup to allow everything to be indexed, I really wish some of the really old forums had been setup to allow archiving because there was a lot of neato technical discussion on several forums I used to frequent in the 1990s that are lost to the recycling bin of time.

What service did you go through to get the LUPO? I would very much like to get a LHD non-turbo lupo but have absolutely no idea what would be required to even attempt. (I would be more apt to putting it in an antique VW vehicle or the Miles I retitled, not necessarily an insight... though that would be sweet if I could find one reasonably.) I also wonder if there are any modern common diesel motors that are as efficient as the VW 1.2 that are either smaller or non-turbo, the vehicles I am considering for conversion are very very light and wouldn't need much to get going. The other issue would be gearing.

How much did it end up costing to get the vehicle and get it here, if you don't mind divulging?

I also wonder what forms I would need to fill out.

(sorry for being such a nuisance but these things are really interesting to me)
