GM, Fisker, Tesla and others with their battery cooling systems may have to do more robust engineering & failure tests of their liquid cooling systems. If simple hose/clamp leaks could cause catastrophic failures, any collisions/hard damage would obviously result in electrical shorts. Nissan's (less expensive) decision w/ the Leaf, to go 'primitive' with an air-cooled system, may mean more sales for its implementation.
