pictures on the internet can be decieving, it is only when you have actually seen/touched/and been in them on both sides of the Atlantic it becomes evident that they in fact have NOTHING in common (I am sure some mechincal part(s) could be shared) but the car as a whole has nothing in common! As for Ford world cars, that have been in the US, they are very few Capri, Sierra, Mondeo, Focus (Mk1) are a few that come to mind quickly. Most of those never saw any serious success aside from the Focus.
