I was wondering what the UK counterpart of my 2009 Tacoma gets for fuel economy. Check out the difference here. I logged my fuel for about 6 months with an app called gascubby on my iphone and this is the summary of the whole duration:

Now the UK version of my Tacoma is called a Hilux and is pretty much identical in every way except aesthetics on the front end and of coarse
engine choices.

It's really too bad there is no market in North America for these little diesel engines in pickups

If I could do it at a reasonable cost, I would trade mine for an imported Hilux without a moments hesitation.
