I despise bicyclists that have plenty of room on the side of the road but hog the entire lane anyhow. This seems to describe most bicyclists.

In downtown Portland they have designated an area at stoplights closest to the stop line as bicycle only. This means slow bikes can pass cars and block in front, slowing the whole line of cars down. This also means it is illegal to pull up to the line for the purposes of making a right turn on red. Now we have a bunch of cars unnecessarily idling at a red light.

I do enjoy riding bicycles in Portland, but they have taken the idea of sharing the road to an inefficient and aggravating extreme.
