Anyone would understand that a college man has more important uses for money than a car. On the other hand we, the rest of us, have had a good deal of pleasure from this thread. The car I had in college was ugly, unairconditioned with a black vinyl interior and a clanking 8-track. And an AM radio. The world has changed enough that a razzle-dazzle paint scheme is seen as being all in good fun, not reason for referral to a psych unit.
But with a name like this (thread) sometimes what sinks also stinks. Good riddance, perhaps.
