ANALOGY -- When somebody advertises 100# of dirt for sale; then later (without telling you) "change" that dirt into sand as part of your "warranty," then you DO have legal recourse--just as she did--for breach of contract by unilateral implementation of changes which negated the original contract...you bought dirt to plant with, not sand for kitty litter!

Honda made unilateral changes for *its* benefit (less battery usage = longer battery life, and thus fewer customer claims) that negatively affected the vehicles FE and functional performance--more ICE and less EV.
